The Phantom’s Lair

Divine exit

Deep, down, below the old abandoned opera house is The Phantom. He lives alone. Unless, you count the arachnids that crawl from the ceiling and walls. Of course the rats are there to. Legend has it that his face is the most hideous of all, and that his thirst for blood is never-ending.

If you dare to enter his foreboding lair first you must pass the stagnant lagoon. There will be a gondola waiting for you, a single paddle inside. It will be hard to find in the soft candle light. Once inside start paddling through the arched passageways quietly,  so as not to stir the alligators. A maze of misdirections await you here.

If somehow you pass through this maze alive an island of black stones awaits you with a small castle upon it. This castle has been here for thousands of years guarding the entrance to another realm. A realm where the Phantom lives in solitude. Past this point is as far as any know, but there is a tale of one young girl brave enough to face this demon whose compassion was the only thing that kept her alive.

So be weary young traveler, and beware the Phantom of The Opera.
